2. Hosting by IONOS
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. According to IONOS, web hosting processes technical access data including referrer, requested page or file, browser type and version, operating system, device type, time of access and an anonymised IP address. IONOS states that web-hosting visitor data is retained for eight weeks.
Where personal data is involved, processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for secure, stable and technically reliable website operation. IONOS is used as a processor under the contractual arrangements.
3. IONOS WebAnalytics
IONOS WebAnalytics is used for statistical analysis and technical optimisation. According to IONOS, WebAnalytics does not use cookies. The IP address transmitted with a page request is anonymised immediately and then processed without personal reference. Data includes referrer, requested pages or files, browser, operating system, device type, time of access and the anonymised IP address.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is statistical analysis and technical improvement of the website.
4. Email and contact form
If you contact me by email or via the contact form, the information you provide is processed to handle your enquiry. When the form is submitted, the entered information is transmitted securely to the web server hosted by IONOS, technically validated there and forwarded by email to kontakt.gannakorol@gmail.com. The form script does not store the enquiry in a database.
To limit automated repeated submissions, a non-reversible hash is derived from the IP address and retained in temporary server storage for no more than 20 seconds. The form script does not store the IP address itself. Technically necessary hosting server logs described in section 2 remain unaffected.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns a contract or pre-contractual steps, and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for handling enquiries, business communication and protecting the form against misuse.
5. Gmail
A Gmail account is used for email communication. The provider in the European Economic Area is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Email communication may involve processing sender and recipient data, timestamps, subject lines, message text and attachments. Processing by affiliated Google companies outside the EEA cannot be completely excluded.
6. Cookies and external content
The website itself does not set non-essential cookies and does not automatically embed external social-media plugins, maps, videos or web fonts. External websites are opened only after you actively click a link. If additional services are introduced later, this privacy notice and any required consent mechanism will be updated.
7. Recipients and retention
Recipients may include the technical service providers named above where necessary for hosting and communication. Further disclosure takes place only where legally permitted or required, or with consent. Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose, subject to statutory retention duties and legitimate evidentiary or legal-claim requirements.
8. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
9. Complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for the controller’s location is in particular the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Werderstraße 74a, 19055 Schwerin, Germany, email info@datenschutz-mv.de.
10. Security
The website is provided via encrypted HTTPS connections and appropriate technical and organisational measures are used according to the risk and scope of processing.
11. Updates
This privacy notice will be updated if the services used, processing activities or legal requirements change.
